Watami Casual Japanese Restaurant

Looking for a new Japanese Restaurant for your cravebuds?

Watami Philippines

Watami provides Japan’s enjoyable and sophisticated causal restaurant at reasonable prices with friendly services with over 700 international branches. Mostly Asia of course. Luckily are we Filipinos they opened their first branch in Philippines last November 10, 2012.

Honestly, I did not know any thing about Watami prior to its opening but thanks to Bistro's text blast about Watami's Promo was able to experience their oh so fine food.

What is the promo all about then?
50% OFF FROM YOUR TOTAL BILL.

Expecting a lot of people that will be coming like Bulgogi's opening day, we went in early. Its opens at 10am. We went in 10:30am. Few people were in there. But just after 30mins it  was jam packed. Well I won't wonder. Who Filipino will miss a promo like that?

OISHI

The Japanese word I do believe we all know. Dishes in Watami are all good. All of their meat are fresh and juicy. You can smell the aroma of meat when its being grilled.

I'm SORRY.
The names and prices of the following food below is placed in
my friend's iPhone that we need to reformat cause she is going to sell it.
So its alllll gone. Rest assured all of them taste G R E A T.

Food in Watami is beyond your ordinary Tokyo-Tokyo Restaurant however not that much to expect if you will compare it to other Fine Japanese Restaurant. But food is great and very affordable. Maybe that's the reason why its named as Watami "Casual" Japanese Restaurant.

Clark Freeport Pampanga

Located in the heart of Philippine’s Central Luzon, only an hour and 30 minutes away, visit the calm and culture-rich Clark.

Getting to Clark is just easy and fast. Just take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and exit at Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga. And within just a split sec tadah! Welcome to Clark!
Clark Freeport Pampanga is an all in one hub. From business to leisure, to travel and aviation.
Clark indeed has it all.
Clark has a lot of historical landmarks. Like the Salakot which is a big hat located at the middle of a park that you'll get to see even before you enter Clark Freeport itself.
They do have a bunch of tourist destinations like
  • Themeparks
  • Casinos
  • Golf course
  • Duty Free
  • Factory outlets (Nike Adidas and other imported stuffs all up to 70%)
  • 4-Wheel Drive
  • Go-Carts
  • Target Shooting
  • and a whole lot more
But the most popular destination is the Fonatana Waterpark. Its quite of a themepark with big wave pools and all. Perfect for family and group getaways. I have never been to Fontana. Supposedly, I will go there with my colleagues last March 2012. BUT I  got "sick".
They are a lot of great activities you can do in Clark, however we went there toooo early so everything was still closed. We left Manila around 5AM, we arrived around 7AM. tourist spots open 9AM.
LOST. We know for a fact that there a lot of things and places you can do in Clark Freeport, but there were a lot of empty lots and few signs amd directions. So we do not know where to go. As we drove around Clark, we have reached Ngayong Pilipino. However, they were still closed. They open at 9AM. Decided to grab some breakfast first at McDonalds.
Ngayong Pilipino
Ngayon Pilipino is a six hectare theme park which highlights the Philippines' diverse and unique culture featuring replicas of Ifugao and Muslim houses, Aeta village and other attractions. Originally, Ngayon Pilipino is "orginally" located at Pasay near Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). But due to some unknown reasons (innovation of new and better themeparks I guess), its already closed.
Replica of Emilio Auguinaldo's House
Replica of Barasoain Church located orginally in Bulucan
There is a Cultural Show every 11AM in Ngayon Pilipino Plaza. It will showcase some Filipino Traits, Traditions, Events and Costumes.

We had a chance to watch the cultural show of the MALONG. I even participated. It wsa funny and fun.

Free Jeepney Ride around Ngayon Pilipino
Clark Air Base
For your information. Clark Freeport Pampanga has its own International Airport.
Yes brah, you read it right. INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. That's how rich this place is. (Rich talaga?)
And beside from its INTERNATIONAL Airport. They also have an Air Base. Formerly the United States Air Base here in the Philippines during Lolo Days. How cool is that?
Awesooomme thing here is that you get a chance to take pictures with those REAL but old planes, choppers and machines guns. BANG!
A quick daytrip to the North is indeed a quick getaway that is indeed S U L I T.

Subic's Jumbo Tacos

Looking for something B I G

A hidden secret along the streets of Subic lies a "Coffeeshop" that serves something
EXTRA BIG for those BIG APPETITE.

The Coffeeshop Restaurant

The Coffeeshop Restaurants is along and across Beach Resorts of Subic Bay Zamables. Literally across. Like 10 steps away. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary eatery who serves those usual "lutong-bahay" dishes. Well yeah, they have Pancit Cantons and stuff, but what makes the The Coffeeshop Restaurant Special is that their UNUSUAL SERVING SIZE.

Speciality?

 TACOS.
Hard and Soft
B I G Tacos.

This might look small but mind you is big.
Don't get to adventurous in ordering one for yourself alone.
You won't be able to finish it I tell you.

The only difference about these Hard Taco and Soft Taco is their wrap. Hard Taco is deep friend like the usual taco in Pancake House, only 10x Bigger. The Soft Taco is more like a Burrito in Miggy's. (I wonder, may Miggy's pa ba?)

Both of them consist the same fillings which are the following:

Ground Beef
Lettuce
Onions
Lettuce
Cheese
Lettuce

But don't get wrong, it was good.
For just Php 130.00, your tummy will be full in no time.

See, it won't even fit my big hungry mouth.

The Coffeshop Restaurant is one of the popular restaurant in Subic. Even famous politicians and actors go here. You visit would not be complete without it

Shrimp Carbonara is your ideal on the go breakfast meal all in one. With bread, meat, shrimp and egg. Never have I imagined EGGS in my pizza. Well, impossible is possible here in Nolita because they were able to pull it off with awesomenessss.

Pizza Chicken Parmesan is like your all meat pizza, only bigger and better. More spices were added that made it more interesting.

For the Regular White Cheese, need I say more? Cheese.

Nolita offers as well other dishes that can be paired up with your pizza. And some of them will be the Crispy Chip Fries with Ranch Dip that are like mojos, only thinner, and their very own Stovetop Mac and Cheese that tasted like 2 different kinds of cheese were used and combined, making it not the your ordinary Mac and Cheese by Kraft or whoever.
